Studies On The Identity Of Socialist Core Values

China is in the period of the social transition now. The social life and culture tend to be more complicated. The diverse cultural ideas and values have been impacting the Chinese traditional cultural order. In the Report to the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, it summarizes the detailed content of the socialist core values. In the year of 2013, the General Office of the CPC Central Committee issued the document named Suggestions of Cultivating and Practising the Socialist Core Values. It is unquestionable that people should approve of the socialist core values before cultivating and practising them. Nowadays, there are many profound practical reasons for the acknowledgement of the socialist core values. Meanwhile, it also faces many challenges due to the revolution and the dilemma in both the theory and the practice.The investigation indicated that there was the otherness in the process of the acknowledgement. People from different fields or different groups approve of the socialist core values diversely. The thesis makes a detailed analysis of the otherness of the acknowledgement of the socialist core values. It was shown that there were several major factors, such as the discrepancy between the theory and the practice, the unattractive methods, and the contradiction with the relevant system. From the angle of the basic problems of the acknowledgement of the socialist core values, this thesis is aimed to identify the relationship between the three levels of the socialist core values. The result showed that the content of the socialist core values was dialectical, unified and inseparably interconnected. The author tries to build an acknowledgement mechanism of the socialist core values so as to guarantee the acknowledgement of the socialist core values. At last, the author also tries to find several ways to acknowledge the socialist core values based on the acknowledgement mechanism. We should always believe in Marxism, make a concrete analysis of each specific question and put forward specific ideas so that the masses can acknowledge and practise the socialist core values.
