Research On The Protection System Of Geographical Indications Of Agricultural Products In China

Geographical indications of agricultural products are symbols of the quality of agricultural products,representing both the quality and the reputation of the product.It can increase the added value of products,improve farmers' income,and promote the rapid development of agricultural economy.However,because the agricultural products geographical indications protection system was established relatively too late in the process of agricultural development and systems protecting geographical indications of agricultural products are scattered in various laws and regulations,the original functions of systems protecting agricultural products geographical indications haven't been effectively implemented.In addition,many problems also appeared during the practical implementation process,which also led to the failure of the expected results of the legislation.All the above factors eventually lead to the problem that the quality of geographical indication products are not satisfying and hinder the healthy development of the geographical indications of agricultural products in China.This situation requires us to further improve the protection system of the geographical indication of agricultural products in order to fully explore the economic value behind the geographical indications of agricultural products.Therefore,research on agricultural product geographical indications protection system is of great significance.Based on the basic theory of agricultural geographical works,this paper analyzes from several aspects the necessity of geographical indication protection system of agricultural products,and also make a comprehensive analysis of the deficiencies and shortcomings existing in our agricultural products geographical indications,from which to put forward the constructive opinions and strategies dealing with our protection systems about agriculture products geographical indications,based on the actual situation in our countryThis paper intends to discuss the above problems from 5 chapters.The first chapter will explain the background,the significance and the key and difficult points about the research on the protection system of agricultural products geographical indications,so as to lay the foundation for a further research.The second chapter will analyze the basic theories defining geographical indications of agricultural products,clarify the basic concepts and legal characteristics of geographical indications of agricultural products,and demonstrate the necessity of protection of geographical indications of agricultural products.The third chapter will introduce the status quo of the agricultural products geographical indications protection system in our country,and then from there to analyze the existing problems in the practice process and the analysis of the reasons causing those problems.The fourth chapter will put forward the legislative idea about the improvement of our geographical indications protection system from the choice of legislative mode,the guidance ideas,the legislative principles,the basic content and the legal liabilities,so as to provide effective guarantee to our protection of the geographical indications of agricultural products.Then the fifth chapter makes a summary about the whole paper.
