Police Occupational Stress Relief

With the current economic marketization and globalization,the social security is facing unprecedented huge challenge.It's also put forwardhigher requirements to the police.High risk,high load and inharmonious environment makes the police risk a higher stress than other jobs,Highly professional pressure can make the police produce a series of abnormal reaction in psychology,physiology and behavior,it can also affect a normal family life,hinder the enthusiasm of police.Highly professional pressuremay even cause negative work attitude,make a negative impact on social security.In order to grasp the status of police occupational stress,looking for occupational stress factors,explore the strategies to reduce police occupational stress.This paper is based on previous literature research and combined with the interview data,use a self-made questionnaire,to make an investigation about police occupational stress of public security bureau Q.This survey hand out 180 questionnaires and use SPSS20.0 to analysis the result of questionnaire investigation.The writer make project analysis,factor analysis,multiple linear regression analysis and reliability test,validity test to summed up the police occupational stress mainly comes from the poor working conditions,job role ambiguity,small career development prospects,low social and family support,etc.According to the results of the questionnaire investigation and Interview transcription,the author summed up the sources of police occupational stress is various,it involves working conditions,working ability,social and family support,etc.So,the strategy to alleviate the police occupational stress is multi-dimension.Specifically,there are three levels,The first of all is the organization level,from this level,the social works help to advocating building work relief mechanism and improve the level of organization and so on,the second is to relief police stress from social level,and the last is to provide psychological adjustment training,to build self-support system,to improve the ability of emotion regulation from individual level.
