The late 1960s and early 1970s, the world situation has undergone profound changes. The pattern of the Cold War, the Soviet Union demonstrated offensive posture and the United States takes a strategic defensive posture. Pakistan's domestic problems caused by the confrontation between India and Pakistan and thus the formation appeared in the South Asian crisis. In the new international situation, India-US relations before and after the crisis in, South Asia is experiencing profound changes and challenges.Before the outbreak of the crisis in South Asia, the United States was just trying to bring India into his system of hegemony, in order to achieve dominance in the US-Soviet confrontation.
