Study On The Practices Of College Students' Socialist Core Value In Police Training School(PTS)

To practice socialist core values is not a consensus problem but a common view.It is also a foundation engineering of gathering power and strengthening bases of our college students' ideological and political education in the new period.As a reserve talents education base of national police power,Police Training School(PTS)should make the socialist core values blend in every process of education,covering the educator and the educated,practicing every educational teaching and service.PTS should also found a cultivation platform of class education,practice education and school culture,perfect incentive system,participation system and security system to realize the educational goal of students and practicing socialist core values of students in PTS.There are four parts in the whole paper.The specific details are as follows:Part one,it describes the era significance and historic responsibility of the practice of the socialist core values for the students in PTS in the new period.First,according to the trait,current situation and the development of the practices,it's progress is in badly need the practice of the socialist core values.Secondly,the approval of the practices is the source,key and guarantee of the development.Thirdly,the practices propel PTS's educational reform,the harmonious relationship between police and populace and the approval of Chinese legal construction.Part two,focusing on generalizing and concluding the basic general situation that police college students practice socialist core values.In terms of content,the practices of core values of PTS contains that Marxism concept of faith education,education of socialism honor and shame,education of the people's police core values and education of three advocate.In terms of approach,the practices of core values of PTS including major ways that courses of ideological and political education,construction of the second class,policing management,party activities of school and the network ideological and political education and so on.As far as the characteristic is concerned,the practices of core values of PTS mainly reflected in attaching importance to political discipline,industry characteristics.At the same time,the practices of core values of police college also exist shortcomings,it is mainly reflected in the process of practices to be promoted,cultivating the main incentive systems to be improved and cultivating social support to be perfected.Part three,lay stress on how to enhance the identity of practices of core socialist values among students in police training schools.In this part,there are four aspects discussed highly.The first is how to improve college students 'sense of the practice of core values.It emphasizes the process from external inspiration to internal reflection,the importance of education in the management by which it can establish a form of authoritative management,and emphasizes the tendency from words to deeds etc.The second is how to give prominence to the practices of core values among students in police training schools——the activation of the education of Marxism,the improvement of students 'identity of the values that people foremost,the shape of the ethos of spirit of times,the enhancement of the ability to judge on the right and wrong,the learning from excellent traditional cultures,and the stress on the moral practice of values.The third is to enrich the practices forms of core values,including stepping out of school gates,joining into the society and the community,respecting for the knowledge,integrating into occupation prestige,advocating the spirit of the rule of law,and cultivating the sense of time mission etc.The forth is to create a kind of cultural atmosphere of the pratices of core values among students in police training schools,aiming to make core socialist values run through the inheritance of school spirit,school entertainment and social support etc.Part four,this part mainly focuses on how to improve the practice of socialist core values of contemporary PTS.Solving the effectiveness of the PTS practicing the socialist core values from the system,these mechanisms mainly includes incentives,safeguards and responsibility mechanisms triple standard design.The practice of socialist core values of PTS has important theoretical and practical significance of the education reform and students' grown-up,success and growth during the transition time.This is concerning a police academy's basic training objectives:"What kind of people's police to train" and "how to cultivate people's police",which concerning the new requirements of the police academy education reform under the era theme of "four comprehensively promote",this concerning if a police academy can train the excellent police reserve force insisting "loyalty,serving the people,rule of law,honesty,dedication",if they are able to take on the new requirements of the national police building.
