Studies Of Criminal Reconciliation System From Public Security Perspective

Criminal reconciliation system,as a special procedure,has been incorporated into the newly revised Criminal Procedure Law.This has provided a broad space of development for criminal reconciliation in investigation phase,and also strengthened the standardization and legal power of public security organs when exercising the reconciliation.However,problems and obstacles inevitably exist in application,since it is a brand new system to us.Therefore,in practice,it is necessary to explore and establish the mechanisms allowing public security organs to implement criminal reconciliation procedure more professionally and rationally,based on the correct understanding of the new Criminal Procedure Law.This will bring into full play the unique advantage of public security as the forefront authority in criminal procedure and allow the criminal reconciliation system to realize its value regarding restorative justice within the orbit of legal system.
