Analysis Of Motorway Traffic Police's Job Burnout And Its Influencing Factors

In recent years, the problem of job burnout has serious effect on the civil servants' mental and physical health and the government's management level. According to the relevant departments'investigation, the police is one of the groups that are suffering from serious job burnout. Motorway traffic police,as a special group in police force, has the common characteristic of job burnout in police group.With the constant extension in the highway mileage and the rising number of the vehicles in China, their workload and intensity have also increased rapidly.The job burnout in the team of motorway traffic police shows a certain degree of spread and rising trend. If it is not properly dealt with, it will inevitably affect the work attitude and service quality of motorway traffic police,thus influencing public travel and social security.Therefore,the study of motorway traffic police's job burnout is of important and practical significance.This paper, based on the theories of Maslow's hierarchy of needs, person-post fit and career planning, With using the methods of literature research, investigation, data analysis, et. takes 180 motorway traffic police of Fujian province as the study objects and combined with the MB I job burnout inventory with the usage rate up to 90% currently at home and abroad, design a questionnaire include of the motorway traffic police's basic information. Maslach Burnot Iventory scale and related information of job burnout, using questionnaire survey and interview to analyze the status quo of job burnout of motorway traffic police and related influencing factors. The study results show that there exists serious job burnout in motorway traffic police of Fujian province. The three dimensions of job burnout are varying according to the basic information of motorway traffic police. The main influencing factors of motorway traffic police's job burnout can be classified into four aspects-- government, society, occupation and individual. At last, based on the above analysis, Put forword countermeasures and suggestions to relieve the job burnout of motorway traffic police. Government level is mainly to perfect incentive mechanism, Perfect performance appraisal system, and make career planning. Social level is mainly to Enhance public understanding support, create a good consensus environment and stabilize family support system. Professional level is mainly to strengthen motorway traffic police humanistic care, enrich the content of motorway traffic police work, reduce the pressure of motorway traffic police work. Individual level is mainly to strengthen motorway traffic police classification management, set up the correct employment view, and reinforce self-psychological regulation ability.
