With the deepening of the economic globalization' degree,the market competition becomes more and more fierce.Only pursuing the immediate economic benefits is not conductive for the long-term development of the enterprises.After the Wenchuan's earthquake in 2008,the corporate philanthropy has received high attention from all sectors of society.After that,corporate philanthropy has developed rapidly,and it gradually becomes a daily behavior of the enterprise.Based on the motivations of the enterprises' charity donation,this paper takes Chinese a-share listed companies which from 2008 to 2014 as samples.The enterprise financial risks,the spendings on advertising and marketing and the senior management team' salary are the explaining variables.The corporate philanthropy' tendency and it's size are the explained variables.The enterprises' life cycle and corporate performance are the regulated variables.We carried on an empirical research about the influencing factors of the corporate philanthropy.Firstly,this paper reviews and combs the relevant literatures.Through it we grasp the research direction and research results of the influence factors of corporate philanthropy.What's more we concretely analyze and summary the enterprise charity'motivations and the related theories,and then put forward the research hypothesizes,Secondly,the empirical research,we do the descriptive statistics and the correlation analysis.Then do the regression analysises for the above proposed research hypotheses.Finally,through the analysises and discussions about the empirical results,we get research conclusions.According to the conclusions,we put forward some corresponding suggestions to the enterprises,the government and the general public.The research conclusions are as follows:1.The financial risks have a significant and negative correlation with the tendency of donation and it's size.Wha's more,the negative correlation has significant differences in different life cycle stages.It is stonger in the growth period,but it is weaker when the enterprise performance is upper or lower.2.The spendings on advertising and marketing have a significant and positive effect on the tendency of the corporate donation.What's more,the positive correlation is stonger in the growth period,and when the enterprise performance is upper or lower.3.The salary of the executive team have a significant and positive correlation with the tendency of donation and it's size.Moreover,the positive correlation is stonger in the recession period,and when the enterprise performance is upper or lower.
