"Copernicus Revolution" disintegrates the traditional cosmic image fabricated by Aristotle-Ptolemy.Notwithstanding its constriction and closeness, the latter remains secure, stable, beautiful and even fair.In addition,it is a system accessible to human soul. The Astronomical Revolution initiated by Copernicus puts an end to all of these. This revolution breaks the celestial order in the mind of Ptolemy and the universe represents the infinite nature for an instant. This firstly implies that the secular order has lost the backbone of ancient cosmic theory. The heaven changes the original beautiful outlook but manifests various inexplainable celestial phenomena. This is actually the cosmic scene of "earth tragicosmedy" depicted by Shakespeare.Throughout these scenes,Shakespeare observes disaster, chaos, fury, ugliness, unaturalness and even injustice. This is not only the fundamental vision of Shakespeare, but also the premise of Shakespeare's works."Palace" is the narrative venue of most stories composed by Shakespeare.Obviously,it signals the metaphor of secular order and the world. What coexists with the chaotic celestial phenomena in parallel is the extreme insecurity in the palace depicted by Shakespeare. The palaces in Hamlet,Macbeth,King Lear and Richard III are all haunted by the furious and mysterious atmosphere of plot, assassination, usurpation. The power of throne undergoes ups and downs together with violence and the supreme place encounters turbulence and even abolition. This keenly indicates that the abolition of the central place of secular world in universe made by Copernicus Astronomical Revolution. The works of Shakespeare remind people that the long-term divine monarchy political system simultaneously collapses down with traditional cosmic order theory. However, the tyrant rises to the occasion as the largest opponent to the natural order.Tyrant is the terminator of natural order. The dangerous degree of Shakespeare's palace reaches to the summit together with the advent of the tyrant. The reckless tyrant and the disintegrated cosmic order form the structural alliance in this post-ancient world and present the radical conditions of a coming brand-new era to the world. This thesis takes Shakespeare 's historical play Richard III as the analysis text to have an in-depth observation on previous thoughts.
