Psychological and physiological tests have gone through hundred years of development and have achieved many outstanding contributions. The test method also acquires some evolutional progress, from the related and unrelated test method,to the peak test method,to the standard test method,to the crime plot test method(it is known as hidden information test method now),to the comprehensive cognitive test method which are independently developed by China. Its process can be described as rapidly changing.Compared with the overseas success rate of hidden information test method,China's cognitive comprehensive test method went through nearly a thousand cases of difficult cases, made extraordinary test achievements and public opinion impact. However, most of the present understanding and knowing about cognitive test methods are mostly derived from the experimental experience and theoretical discussion, the related laboratory research data is relatively rare, lacking laboratory research support. In terms of China's cognitive test method and foreign hidden information test method, which is more efficient, and which is better in the distinguishing ability,it is worth investigating. Thus, under the laboratory conditions, the present article investigate the skin electrical response using the two test methods under the simulated crime paradigm, and then compares the hidden information test method and the cognitive comprehensive test method to find out which method is more effective.Furthermore,to explore the advantages and disadvantages of the two methods and the problem which needs to be improved, and take its essence and get rid of its dross,so that it can enhance the designing question in our country's comprehensive cognitive test system, which can further elevate the scientific nature and effectiveness of cognitive comprehensive test method.
