Research On Social Order And Governance In The New Era Of Media

New media is a double-edged sword which multi dimensionally influences the new media order.On one side,the new media promotes social progress with the characteristics of convenience,efficiency,instance and interaction;on the other side,the network public sentiment has certain effect on the social order and poses a huge challenge to governance.Therefore,the government should fully attach the importance to the new media and use it to achieve the modernization of social governance.Nowadays,China is in a special social transformation period where social order changes and transforms greatly.Particularly,in the background of new media era,the old social order which is combined with old system and mechanism has been broke out,while new social order is hard to build.A good social order is established in the new media era leveraging the characteristics of new media in new media era;however,in the lack of law of new media,there are some challenges in the reconstruction of new media.Therefore,use new media correctly and reasonably is an important mean to the reconstruction of social order and modernization of social governance.Decision on Some Major Issues Concerning Comprehensively Deepening the Reform adopted at the Third Plenary Session of the 18 th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China puts forward the innovative social governance mechanism.This strategic planning discusses that promoting the modernization of the national governance system and capacity has the vital impact on the improvement and development of the socialism with Chinese characteristics.The innovative social governance mechanism is also the main route of regulating social behavior,adjusting the interests of all parties in society,resolving social contradictions and realizing the social justice and harmony.China now is in a turbulent epoch,the ideology changed radically and the era transformed.The use of new media is also a reflection of social governance level.The strength of the new media and the position in the international transmission order increasingly become a vital embodiment of national soft power.Since the convening of the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the government thinks highly of the use of new media.President Xi stresses several times to develop new media effectiveness,grasp and guide public opinion initiatively.In the fourth time meeting of the Central Reform Leading Group held on August 19,2014,President Xi identified claimed that the government need to actively promote the combination and development of old and new media.He also said that follow the regular patterns of news transmission and new media development are very important.Strengthening the Internet thought and adhering to the complementing traditional media and new media's advantages help to form the varied and mixing modern transmission system.Therefore,it is necessary to discussing the new media application in the reconstruction of social orderBesides the introduction,this article has five parts.The introduction mainly elaborates the significance of the topic,the research method,the research status and the innovation of this article.The first part elaborates the related concepts of new media,new media era,social order and social order in the era of new media and the important role of the new media in the modernization of social governance which President Xi puts forward.The second part expounds five problems,the new situation of the social order in the new media era,the characteristics of the social order in the new media era,new media in the study of social order problems;the advantage and challenge of the new media in the reconstruction of social order,the important role of new media in the reconstruction of social order.The third part discusses new challenges the social governance modernization faced in the new media age.The fourth part states the current problems existing in social order in the new media age.The fifth part sets forth the approach to improving social order in the new media era and the solving measures for the disadvantages of new media appeared in the social governance modernization.The government needs to regulate the new media in order to achieve the goal of socialist modernization and further rebuild social order in the new media age.
