In 2016,on the reality that Benigno Simeon Cojuangco Aquino II’s Sino-treating policy was not work,Duterte administration met the situation that Philippine has to change the former policy of anti-China.After the presidential transition,the new government which led by Rodrigo Duterte made a decision to re-build the relationship with China.The first step of it is to settle South China Sea Issue through friendly negotiations.The new policy not only ends the counterplot which has been taken by Aquino III since the Huangyan Island issue in 2012 but also normalizes the China-Philippine diplomatic relations.Besides,it also produces a great influence on the Asia-Pacific region.To analyze the new policy can help us clearly find the factors which lead to the policy changes and know the relations among Philippine China and U.S.today.In another word,this essay has realistic significance.This paper,based on the track of materialistic conception of history,uses the theories of the international political science with the data analysis method to investigate the reasons for Sino-treating policy of Duterte administration and analyze the influence after the policy implemented.There are three parts in the thesis:the preface,the main body and the remark.The preface mainly introduces the motive of this topic and the research of this problem at present at home and abroad.Adjusting the policy alleviates the nervous atmosphere between Sino-Philippine relations on the economy,trade and the South China Sea Issue.Research on this topic is abundant in academic circle in our country.Most of them concentrate on the South China Sea Issue and take it as the main factor on the country’s relations.There is no doubt that the findings on analysis of Sino-Philippine relation are rich while not comprehensive.So according to a great deal of dates,the author will make further research on this thesis and try to make a breakthrough.The main body of this paper is made up of four parts.It contains the Sino-Philippine diplomatic policies of the previous Philippine governments and the present government and the characteristics of Duterte administration.And then the paper has a discussion and analysis on the domestic and international factors to Duterte administration to change the foreign policy.In the end,the paper discusses the new policy ’s influence on the region even the world and the difficulties it confronts.The first part focuses on the Sino-treating policy of Duterte administration.In order to see the differences between Duterte’s policy and Aquino Ⅲ’s,this paper reviews the evolution by the Philippine previous governments.In the following parts of the paper,all points surround the topic.The second part discusses the characteristics of Duterte ’s Sino-treating policy which is pragmatic,independent and reveals great power balance strategy.The third part analyzes the reason that Duterte has to change Sino-treating policy.It focuses on the domestic and the international situation,including the negative result from Aquino Ⅲ’s policy,china’s rising influence on Philippine’s trade and the variety of international situation.The fourth part relates that the new Sino-treating policy’s influence on diplomatic relations such as China-Philippine relations,America-Philippine relations even on the whole Asian-Pacific region.There is no doubt that Duterte’s adjustment of its policy towards china can push China-Philippine relations to the normal bilateral relations.Then all the relevant countries and regions change their strategy.All the details can be seen in this part.Besides the benefits Philippine also faces some dilemmas to implement this new policy.The conclusion is that Duterte’s administration carries out his policy and eases relations with china successfully.Not only does it build a bond to solve various problems between the two countries but also we can see that the trend of "win-win" will be the new theme between China-Philippine relations in the future.From now on,china and Philippine should seek common points and reserving difference to strength their cooperation and take effort to keep the world more harmonious.
