China and EU are two major political actors as well as economies and traders.China-EU bilateral relations are of great significance to the world political and economic structures.Since European Debt Crisis, some new changes have happened to China-EU relations.First, the strength of them makes vivid changes. With the rapid development of China,it hasn't been dominated by EU;second,in terms of economy and trade, its structure is changing between them, emerged with both opportunities and challenges;third, international situation is changing, and it influences the external environment, bringing more uncertainties.Owing to this,European cognition to China changes, mainly shown by European Communication on China which was released on June,2016.First,EU's identity cognition is changed. It regards China as “collaborator” not “competitor” and it doesn't regard China's rise as a threat;second,in the realm of economy and trade,on the one hand,EU shows strong willingness to deepen cooperation. On the other hand, the existing disagreement goes deeper;third,in the field of international governance,EU's pragmatism to China prevails.Only hope to enhance the cooperation with China can they meet the global challenge together, with the decrease of idea of value-oriented diplomacy. Therefore, the trend of EU's policy to China will change,to some extent.EU will make further efforts to seek cooperation with China in many fields and strengthen Sino-EU relation. But,as for some existing problems, disagreements will enlarge and even intensify, adding more uncertainties. In the China-EU relations, collaboration is still the mainstream and also some challenges exists. The two sides need to continue to strengthen cooperation and effort to control their differences to promote the further development of ChinaEU Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
