A Study On The European Refugee Crisis And The Response Of The European Union

The refugee crisis that erupted in 2015 in Europe is the largest and most serious refugee crisis since World War II and an important part of the world's refugee problem.The continuous fermentation of the refugee crisis has had a major impact on European economic recovery,cultural values,political and ecological stability,and social security.It has also had a relatively negative impact on EU integration,deepening the differences between EU countries and the barriers have become another difficult problem to be solved after the European Union's debt crisis and the Ukrainian incident,which has aroused the attention of the international community.Therefore,this work analyzes the development trend of the current European refugee crisis,analyzes the causes of the European refugee crisis from the perspective of refugee output and refugee flow.Generally speaking,the European refugee crisis has its complicated and profound reasons,among which the geographical conditions in Europe and West Asia and North Africa,the developed European economic conditions and better social welfare treatment,and the promotion of refugees by illegal population organizations,it can be said that the emergence of the European refugee crisis is caused by a combination of various factors.This topic also discusses the impact of the European refugee crisis on European integration from the economic,political,sociocultural and social security levels.The negative effects further deepen the unemployment of the European labor force,triggering differences and barriers among European countries,affecting internal unity within the EU,fostering right-wing nationalism and Brexit tendencies,exacerbating ethnic and religious conflicts at the socio-cultural level,tearing Europe Cultural values.From the social security level,many terrorist incidents have arisen,which has intensified the contradiction between European residents and refugees and aggravated the social unrest in Europe.This paper analyzes the EU's policies for the refugee crisis at different stages.In general,the EU's position and policy in the refugee crisis have been reconciled from the initial cautious concept to the positive response.Based on the EU's policy and implementation effects on the refugee crisis,this paper analyzes the dilemma of EU integration.The EU is slow in the process of promoting refugee policy.Many policies are difficult to implement and reflect the EU's integration process.The mechanism dilemma,identity dilemma and sovereign dilemma have become important reasons why EU refugee policy is difficult to implement.In the future,EU countries need to actively take effective measures from the perspective of refugee roots,internal systems,refugee integration and border management to strive for an early resolution of the refugee problem.
