Study On Rural Funeral Management In Chaoyang City

Funeral reform is aimed at actively promoting cremation, reforming inhumation, abolishing funeral undesirable customs, and advocating civilized and thrifty funeral arrangements. In our country, Funeral management concerns the vital habits and interests of citizens. Funeral reform achieved enormous results after decades of development, and meanwhile triggered numerous social problems and contradictions. In rural areas of Chaoyang City, western Liaoning, funeral order was gradually perfected under the leadership of government. However, concrete measures and practices were not well-planned and perfected in actual development, triggering numerous social problems and contradictions, thus the boosting of funeral reform met difficulties and challenges.Firstly, this paper introduced the research background and significance of rural funeral management, and analyzed the development and status of domestic and overseas relevant subject researches on funeral reform and management. Starting from theoretical basis, it elaborated the connotation and characteristics of funeral management, funeral reform, and government behavior, and expounded on the necessity of China's funeral system reform. Under the new situation of constructing harmonious society, it has very important significance in exploring the countermeasures for improving government executive power in China's funeral management.Secondly, keeping a foothold on the reality of Chaoyang City, it conducted systematic and in-depth research on the status and existing problems of rural funeral management adopting the methods of literature research, empirical approach, case analysis, survey and interview. In addition, it elaborated on the status of rural funeral management in such city, and combined with reality to analyze the main problems existing in government executive power in rural funeral management. It analyzed the cause and found the crux of problems.Finally, Begin with basic level government behavior, this article offers proposals and countermeasures to achieve the improvement of service concept, establish a new type of funeral order, which reach the aims of the basic level government in rural funeral management, public management and service functions in order to promote the rural funeral management out of the plight of the healthy and scientific development.
