| Carrying out legal aid is of great significance to the construction of democracy and the rule of law and the development of human rights protection.At the present stage,the legal aid system provides necessary services for the disadvantaged groups,but it can still not meet the needs of a large number of citizens with economic difficulties.In this paper,taking the practice of the legal aid in Mongolia Autonomous Prefecture of Bortala Xinjiang as a research object,the author completely investigates the implementation and existing problems of the legal aid system in Xinjiang,comprehensively applying file analysis,questionnaire survey,case interview and other research methods,providing reference for the further improvement of legal aid system.This text is composed of the following four parts.In the first part,taking the cases of legal aid in Bole city in 2014-2015 as analyzable material,the author investigates the operation of the legal aid system and the handling of legal aid cases in Bole.In the second part,by means of questionnaire survey data and records of individual interviews,the author focuses on analyzing the work relating to legal aid and the understanding of detainees and undertakers for this work,summing up the differences of all parties' evaluation and analyzing the reasons for that.In the third part,concerning that the main problems of the legal aid work are the focus of this writing,the author concludes that the legal aid work is now facing the following problems,which include the limitations of legal aid objects,the narrow scope of legal aid,the low quality of legal aid cases,the lack of guarantee ability and the loopholes in docking mechanism.In the fourth part,the author puts forward suggestions relevant to perfecting the legal aid system,which include enlarging the scope of legal aid,improving the quality of legal aid cases,strengthening the construction of guarantee ability and improving the docking mechanism. |
