In recent years,China's volunteer service has made significant progress.Nowadays,aging is becoming more and more serious.How to fully develop the advantages of elderly,and how to make the elderly continue to play a role in the social arena by using their valuable experience and how to continue contributing to society have become more and more concerned by the society.It is a good way of responding to this concern to help elderly to actively participate in volunteer service.In the volunteer team,these just retired young elderly volunteers are getting more and more attention,and they are becoming an important part of volunteers.Most of these just retired elderly are still going strong,walk easily,have plenty of free time,and have strong desire to take part in the social life.In this research,the author carried out an investigation through questionnaire to study the participation of the just retired young elderly in volunteer services and took the just retired young elderly who live in J community in Xingtai City of Hebei Province as a case study.The researcher selected 100 just retired young elderly from J community,and invited them to fill in the questionnaire.This paper,combined with other information,the author studied the participation of young elderly in volunteer service from the following four aspects: the willingness to participate in volunteer service of young elderly,the participation of young elderly in taking part in the voluntary service organizations,the factors affecting the participation of young elderly in volunteer service and suggestions on improving participation of young elderly in volunteer service.So as to bring more young elderly to participate in the volunteer service actively,make full use of their own precious resources,enrich their lives,and promote the harmonious development of society.
