The media image of the Communist Party of China is one of the hot topics in nowadays society.How to construct a good media image of the party is an important subject studied by scholars currently.The Communist Party of China pays high attention to the leadership of the news media and constructs media image of party by the way of continual news reports since the party has its own media business.As the Xinjiang provincial Party newspaper,The "Xinjiang Daily" is the first public opinion field of the party in Xinjiang.It undertakes the role of the mouthpiece of the party,government and people.In spite of the propaganda of ruling ideas,expression to the voice of the people,and the operation of power,scientific decision-making,The "Xinjiang Daily" plays the role of supervision of public opinion and public opinion guidance.Focusing on this important point,this paper takes the media image of the new age party in Xinjiang as the main study object,and uses sampling survey method which contains the collection,collation and statistics to process the reports that were associated with the party and published in the "Xinjiang Daily" from 2000 to 2015.Then,adopting with the content analysis,this paper carries out quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis on the reports associated with the party.The paper analyzes the characteristics and changing trend of those relevant reports on the perspective of horizontal level and explores the overall situation of the party's media image on the perspective of vertical level.On this basis,from the three dimensions of the party's media image,public perception image and the party's physical image,the study explores in great depth the difference between the displayed image and the public perception image of the Communist Party China.Then,the paper analyzes the reasons for this difference and tries hard to find out the solution scheme.Through the study,the researcher finds that the media image construction of the Communist Party of China cannot separate from the unremitting efforts of the "Xinjiang Daily" in Xinjiang during the new century.Through the deeply analysis of the meaning of the party's media image,it is found that the party's media image is formed in the process of dynamic communication.The image is both subjective and objective,so it is a kind of "double construction" image.According to the analysis of the seven dimensional data of the Party's media image,it is found that the "Xinjiang Daily" has successfully constructed the party image of the China Communist Party as building for the public,state power for people,seeking the truth and doing practically,reform and innovation,hard struggle,incorruptibility and cleanness,activity,unity and harmony.Therefore,it effectively enhances the party's awareness and improves the public sense of acceptance of the Marxism doctrine Party.Through the analysis of the differences between the displayed party's media image and the public's cognitive image,the researcher obtains the result that the party's media image has “propaganda traces” while cognitive image of the public has "subjective impressions".Although,there exist some differences between the two images,the core sources of them are physical image of the party.Through the exploration of the way to improve the party 's media image,the researcher finds that the media image of the party is influenced by many factors,such as the physical image of the party,the subjective impression of the public and the communication channels.In order to improve the party's media image,we should start with the following fields: reinforcing the party's self-construction,emphasizing the exchange communication between the party and the public,enhancing the spreading power of the party media etc.All efforts mentioned above will enable to the target that the party's image is truly and objectively displayed in front of the public.In short,the construction of good media image of the party has very important significance for the development of the party,which is not only helpful to maintain the authority of the party and strengthen public identification for the party but also conducive to enhance the legitimacy of the ruling party and promote the orderly and stable political environment.
