In recent years, with the process of Chinese internationalization and the globalization, go out of the country of Chinese citizens and enterprises growing, China's overseas investment scale is continually expanding, national economy and the social economic dependence continues to increase, overseas interests grew rapidly.The Middle East and North Africa region is a concentrated area of China's overseas interests. China's economic and trade exchanges with the region have continued to increase. China has extensive economic activities in this region, including the oil, infrastructure, communication projects, contracting projects and other services. In addition, there are a large number of Chinese citizens living in the area.2011 swept in the northeastern region of the "Arabia spring" outbreak, there have been riots in Tunisia revolution, Egypt political unrest and civil war, the Yemen civil war and other social unrest. These conflicts and political turmoil, further worsening the already volatile situation of local, severely endangering China's interests in the region.Not only China's economic interests in the region suffered serious damage, the local Chinese citizens who have suffered physical security threats. To this end, China has taken a series of related protection measures, including:protection mechanism, the use of international economic law and the implementation of military operations other than war, etc.The Middle East and North Africa protection measures, although with some success, but also exposed our country to protect the interests of overseas mechanism; including the risk early warning mechanism is not perfect, the lack of overseas military and domestic related legislation lag. In recent years, accompanied by going out of accelerating the pace, the demand for protecting the interests of overseas also increased, which requires us to must further improve China's overseas interests' protection mechanism, and effectively protect the regional turmoil overseas security interests. For this, the author thinks that should be five aspects from the perfect risk early warning mechanism, improve the emergency disposal mechanism, strengthen the legislation of the overseas investment, improve the overseas military operations and adjust the "non-interference" principle, to further improve our country's action ability in volatile regions, the better maintenance China overseas interests in the relevant areas.
