Education and crime are common phenomena in this society,economic,political and social system reform,promote economic growth and improve people’s living standards,but also gave birth to social unrest and people impetuous status quo.China’s crime rate soared,the type of crime in a sudden and diversified state,violent crime cases,the proportion of economic crime,juvenile delinquency,female crime,highly educated professional crime,political crime increased,and the number of scientific and technological crimes in the rapid growth,lead to a Serious damage to others and society’s lives and property.On the causes of crime,domestic and foreign scholars did relevant researches from the level of economic development,social change,employment status,family stability,education and other aspects,education as an important factor that can affect individual employment and social stability,this article attempts to research the Relationship between Individual Education Level and Crime Type and Punishment Degree.Based on the theory of value and utility of education,the cost of crime and expected return theory,the influence mechanism of educational level on criminal behavior and other related theories,combined with a variety of research methods,and collect 1000 related criminals personal information from the referee documents online,this article use empirical research and analysis the Relationship between Individual Education Level and Crime Type and Punishment Degree,conclusion as below:(1)There is a significant difference between the educational level of the offender and the type of crime and the degree of punishment.Low-level criminals are prone to violent crimes such as harassment,intentional injury,theft and robbery,and highly educated undergraduates and above are more likely to engage in authority,political and high-tech crimes.(2)the level of education is also an important factor affecting the degree of criminal penalties.In this paper,the logistic regression analysis method is used to obtain the crime penalty probability that the junior college or higher is heavier than the illiterate semi-illiterate and the primary school.This paper attempts to extract from the data collection method is different from other scholars that using a region or a single court of direct statistical data,finding 1000 statistical objects from the referee document network including the provinces of the year of 2014-2016,it is more representative and effectiveness.On the one hand,it can be able to verify the predecessors to improve that the degree of education can inhibit the role of crime point of view,on the other hand,the use of empirical research to arrive at a general conclusion of social phenomena,and in accordance with China’s current education and legal deficiencies put forward a reasonable and feasible countermeasures Suggestions,in order to reduce the incidence of criminal behavior from the source and fundamentally.
