The vitality and continuity of the Pre-Qin Confucianism derive from its adaption to social reality at that time.What's more,it concerns about real people,trying to make the individual get along well with society.This is of great importance to contemporary society.The political model of Pre-Qin Confucian is dominated by “responsibility”,which is based on sentiment,emphasizing sense of responsibility.In this view,people are connected by sentiment,which is derives from family ties.Social relations means expanding family ties to other people in accordance with the blood relationship,so that to form a network structure of interpersonal relationship.social governance aims at develop and maintain this relationship.Therefore,this thesis taking The Analects,Menci,Xuncius as textual basis,referring to review of related documents,probes the basic logic of Pre-Qin Confucian political philosophy from responsibility perspective.This thesis takes the “self-family-nation” as the main line,and forms its content respectively through thoughts of Confucius,Menci and Xuncius.In addition to the parts of introduction and conclusion,this thesis can be divided into four parts:In the first part,literature review concerned is conducted with reference to both the western and Chinese studies.In the review,the research orientation and approach will be cleared.Then after a brief analysis of these studies,the author will point out the orientation of this thesis.The second part is the foundation of Pre-Qin Confucian Political Philosophy,virtuous and positive human nature view.Cognition and presupposition of human nature view is foundation of Pre-Qin Confucian Political Philosophy,which the Pre-Qin Confucian thinkers have different views about.However,all of them acknowledge that human nature can become good through study and cultivation,and advocate realize goodness by this way.It means taking benevolence and rite as medium,passing through the path from self-cultivation to world peace,and finally realizing personal value as well as completing social mission.The third part is the core of Pre-Qin Confucian Political Philosophy,the gentleman' s personality.It is the core thought of Pre-Qin Confucianism that treating one another as we wish to be treated,and achieving social governance through personal good personality.Therefore,self-cultivation is the premise of coordinating interpersonal relations,and only in this way can family and social relationship be regulated effectively,realizing world peace in the end.Only the ruler has perfect virtue,can he lead people to cultivate virtue as a model.The fourth part is the cultivation of Pre-Qin Confucian Political Philosophy,a desirable interpersonal relationship.In Confucianism,individuals are part of human relationship,reflected as formulating and sustaining social network with benevolence as the core.In this network,every person has a fixed position,and bears corresponding responsibility,forming desirable interpersonal relationship through mutual appropriate treatment.On this basis,social norms can be developed,thus establishing an orderly society.Such society is practical results of gentleman' s personality as well as a place cultivating it.The fifth part is the realization of Pre-Qin confucian political philosophy,people-oriented social governance.The Pre-Qin Confucianism is based on the absolute monarchy,whose vital part is thought of respecting emperor.However,the most important part is recognizing and respecting the value and demands of the public.The ruler must realize that support of the public is the foundation of political legitimacy,and safeguards their material life conditions,and then carries out the enlightenment.In this way,the social order is protected by improvement of public's quality.
