Research On Chen Duxiu Mass Viewpoint Around The May Fourth Movement(1915-1927)

Chen Duxiu, as an early Marxist in China, actively publicized Marxism, participated in the creation of the Communist Party of China, led the revolutionary cause of the early Chinese Communist Party, and made an important contribution to the final victory of the Chinese revolution. But after the failure of the Great Revolution, Chen Duxiu has changed and become a Trotskyite. Therefore, the academic evaluation of Chen Duxiu mixed, no agreement. This paper argues that Chen Duxiu is both a thinker and a prophet.Chen Duxiu's view of the masses is closely related to his personal experience. Chen Duxiu experienced several major changes, from a traditional feudal thought of "servants"to a radical bourgeois democrats, then to the Marxists,and at last he became Trotskyists.This paper holds that Chen Duxiu's view of the masses has made an important contribution to the revolutionary which of the early Chinese Communist Party. For a variety of reasons, the academic has not conducted a systematic study. This is the main motive of this writing. In this paper, Chen Duxiu in the May Fourth (1915-1927) view of the masses as the object of study, mainly divided into the following six parts:The first part is the introduction. Including the reasons for the topic, domestic and foreign research review, research ideas, research methods and innovation.The second part discusses the background of Chen Duxiu's view of the masses.From the background of the times and the origin of thought.The third part combs the main contents and main features of Chen Duxiu's view of mass. Historical values include: inspiring wisdom, leading the progressive youth to learn Marxism; laying the theoretical foundation of the Chinese Communist Party; leading the Chinese Communist Party to carry out the revolutionary movement and lead the new democratic revolution. Practical significance includes: the idea of democracy will help to build the socialist democratic politics with Chinese characteristics, revealing the subjectivity of the masses to help realize the Chinese dream.The analysis of the peasants' problems will help the grassroots governance.
