A Study On The Evolution Of China's Diplomacy Policy Towards Southeast Asia Since The Reform And Opening-up Policy

Southeast Asian are important neighboring countries for China and Chinese development and stability need the support of neighboring countries.Thus,the Southeast Asian countries are very important for China.Since the reform and open policy,the favorable international and domestic environment for China and Southeast Asian countries to provide good conditions for exchanges.Due to internal and external factors,China and Southeast Asian countries severed diplomatic relations.After the reform and opening-up,diplomatic relations between China and Southeast Asian countries were proceeding-phase characteristics.Their cooperation is increasingly close with fruitful achievement in the political,economic,cultural,security,financial and high diplomacy,but there are some deficiencies.It is helpful that analysis of the reasons for the change of relations between China and Southeast Asian countries would provide practical experience for future cooperation,and to solve the problem in a targeted way.With four decade of rapid development,China can handle diplomatic relation on the basis of own diplomatic ideas.In fact,China's diplomacy is basically mature.Since The 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,Chinese diplomatic relation present new normal.In the light of diplomacy history,China attaches great importance to the neighbors,especially the countries of Southeast Asian.China pay attention to solve problems left over by history.At the same time,China should firmly maintain own sovereignty and interest,and be attention to the inferences of geography.
