On Civil Rights Under The Condition Of Socialist Market Economy

The concept of civil rights began in the ancient Greek and Roman period.After the late bourgeois revolution of the late 18 th century,the embryonic form of modern Western civil rights was already in place.The Marxist civil rights originated from the ancient Greek and Roman states.In addition,the enlightenment thought that began in the bourgeois revolution in the late 18 th century also had a great influence on the Marxist idea of civil rights.In the market economy,the government should play the role of "night watchman".The core of the market economy is to deal with the relationship between government and the market,that is,the rights of citizens and the limits of government power.“Subjects”,“Shun people”,“people” culture strangled the human subjectivity and creativity,instead of their right to fear and dependency.The “citizen” has the characteristics of subjectivity,public rationality,contract consciousness,enjoyment of obligation to fulfill the obligation and bear the consistency of responsibility.Mainly in the civil rights and obligations are dialectical unity: civil rights and obligations are interdependent,civil rights and obligations of mutual restraint.At the present stage,our country has made certain achievements in civil rights.The reason is that our government attaches great importance to the protection of the rights of workers.After 10 years of development,making our workers' rights are effectively protected.With the continuous development of the socialist market economy,the level of social democracy and the rule of law continue to improve.Citizens in order to safeguard personal interests,dare to take up legal arms against the country,no longer obey the collective and national interests without hesitation.The further revision of the constitution improved the electoral system and expanded the people's democratic rights.The fairness of education is the inherent basis of social justice,and our government has continuously increased the investment of education and created the conditions for our citizens to realize the right to education.In the social rights of citizens,our country has realized the full coverage of basic old-age care and basic medical security for urban and rural residents.However,there are still many problems in the development of civil rights in China,such as employment opportunities are not equal,the phenomenon of abuse of power still exists;uneven distribution of wealth led to the lack of political and political rights;the lack of educational resources in rural areas and western region,children in which can not enjoy the right to fair education;dual social structure led to the differentiation of civil society rights.The causes of these problems include economic reasons,political reasons,cultural reasons and traditional reasons.To solve these problems,in addition to vigorously develop the socialist market economy,the government can also take measures from two aspects of sound system and law.
