Development Of Intelligent Firemen Helmet

In recent years,the short-haul communication for fire-fighting has been becoming a major problem in terms of communication.In process of rescue,we should pay more attention to fireman's personal safety and upgrade and transformation for fire-fighting equipment.So the fire helmet should not focus on protection and functional level as before.With the development of fire-fighting career the disadvantages of the traditional helmet gradually render front-line workers pay attention.So,it is essential to transform the traditional helmet.Regarding the Internet and communication technology as the core,we will have the traditional helmet integrated a variety of innovative technologies so that the fireman could know whether they are safe or not in accordance with real-time perception of the surrounding environment and message from helmets.This dissertation aims to design a intelligent helmet for fire-fighting.Based on the original fire helmet,it will be integrated micro controller system,micro controller as the core,a sensor,wireless communication module,sound and light warning module and power module.The external sensor collect information,wireless communication equipment transfer information to the helmet micro controller,the micro controller will process and analyze information thereof.Then,the information will present by OLED.Finally,the warning sign will process and make choose with the help of warning device of helmet.So we made helmet intelligent.On the other hand,on the basis of wireless voice communication technology,the short-haul communication technology is applied to the helmet instead of traditional cable connection mass in order to keep fireman safe.With the intelligent helmet designed in this paper,the functions of wireless communication,intelligent information collection and display,sound and light warning can be realized,and many disadvantages of the existing fire helmet have been changed,which make up for the shortcomings of the traditional helmet.
