The Research Of The Effct Of Crisis Negotiation Within The Disposing Of Hostage-taking In China

In recent years,with the rapid development of Chinese economy,social contradictions have been increasingly prominent.Due to these reasons,the incidence of armed hostagetaking cases appears to be rising and making a negative influence for society' harmony and stability as well.How to deal with the armed hostage-taking cases effectively and safely,minimizing the negative social influence is the bounden duty of Chinese police.The successful cases of dealing with armed hostage-taking in recent years display that crisis negotiation plays an important role within the handling process and drawing extensive attention by the society.However,there were still have some problems in the cognition of crisis negotiation in Chinese public security organs,such as paying attention in the effect of crisis negotiation was not enough,lacking the theory study and research on this area,the research of negotiation skills and techniques still in initial stage.According to these aspects which mentioned above,based on a large number of relevant references home and abroad,the author using case study,questionnaire design and make interview with basic-level police to explore the problems within the development of crisis negotiation in China.In order to find the countermeasures of improving the negotiation skills of Chinese police,simulation experiment and discussing with researchers were also used by this research.This research was explored that the using of crisis negotiation during the process of dealing with armed hostage-taking cases have the following problems:1.Conception differences,mainly reflected in paying attention on the popularizing and using of crisis negotiation were not enough.2.The standardization of anti hostage-taking was lacked.3.The organizing of negotiation team exist difficulties.4.The external cooperative of negotiation was not smooth.5.Negotiations equipment lags behind.Focusing on these problems above,the author using simulation experiment and made interview with researcher to explore appropriate solution methods which were accordance with Chinese actual situations:1.Improving the awareness of crisis negotiation.2.Perfecting relevant laws and regulations.3.Pay attention to the psychological research of people who involved in armed hostage-taking cases.4.Enhancing the professional cultivation of crisis negotiation.5.Perfecting the team building of crisis negotiation.6.To make clear the working phase of the crisis negotiations.This research hopes to enhance the effect of using crisis negotiation during the process of dealing with armed hostage-taking cases and providing references forpromoting the level to carry forward crisis negotiation in Chinese police organization.
