Maintaining Stability maintenance is one of the important tasks of the grass roots police.With the development of economy and society,this kind of tasks is increasing day by day.Frequent participation in such actions,the grass roots police's pressure is increasing too.The appropriate pressure can promote the efficiency,but the excessive pressure will bring both physical and mental influence to the workers,which reduces the efficiency.The pressure of stability maintenance is to the work of the pressure what the work of maintenance stability is to the public security work.Stability maintenance tasks always come along with public security work.So does the pressure.At present,at the backdrop of national stability maintenance,the local police's tasks of stability maintenance in each place have their own characteristics.Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture is one of the five major Tibetans areas in which the Tibetans and many other ethnic groups gathered.Lack of the support of national policy,it is under development for many years,the public security work there has their own local characteristics.First,in the macroscopic aspect,taking the grass roots police as the research object,based on the theories of role conflicting,safeguarding the rights and interests of individual police theory,environment matching and social conflicting,the macro sources of pressure have been revealed,which are the heavy task,bad working environment,personal factors,and the overall situations of stability maintenance.In the microcosmic aspects,through a questionnaire study,the characteristic of stability maintenance task in Gannan was discussed:1.The pressure of Gannan grassroots police is in the middle level;2.The main source of the pressure in Tibetan areas are: the regional stress on stability maintenance with Gannan own characteristics,the pressure brought by the national situations of stability maintenance and police's personal life pressure.But the pressure caused by working environment is not significant this time.Secondly,in the micro aspect,combined the questionnaire items and the actual situation of Gannan public security work,the top five pressure are : the heavy tasks,conception of having little chance of promotion,not enough equipment,the task risk,lack of manpower.Then,the other problems concerning about stress on stability maintenance were also analyzed.And then comes to the specific causes of the stress on stability maintenance in Gannan TibetanAutonomous Prefecture.The corresponding countermeasures were put forward,in order to make a contribution to the police practice and reform.
