Since the late 1990 s,the rural migrant worker stratum has been disintegrated into several groups when more and more 80's and 90's rural migrant workers started to ascend on the urban stage.Due to the numerous differences from their elder generation, those 80's and 90's rural migrant workers are usually called “the new generation of rural migrant workers”,“the second generation of rural floating population”,“the second generation of rural migrant workers” and etc..With the rapidly burgeoning of the new generation migrant worker group, related issues have been increasingly attracting emphasis from the government. To promote the city integration of this group is not only significant for strengthening and innovating the social management while safeguarding the social fairness and justice, but also necessary for balancing and coordinating the joint development of the urban and rural area while ensuring the whole urbanization progress keep moving on orderly. For those new generation migrant workers who stay long in the city, their “interaction” with the urban citizens and the“integration” into the city are all going on within their community. In order to find out the social mechanism and individual logic that lead to the urban community inclusion difficulty of the new generation migrant workers group, this study jointly takes the angle of“space” and “the practice of everyday life” to conduct a case study, which is guided by Burawoy Michael' s Extended Case Method,on the practice of everyday life of the new generation migrant worker group and the college student group in Z University.Research finding shows that, although coming from the same age group and living in the same campus, this two groups' practice of everyday life are following two distinct routines, which are leading by two different kinds of logic: the new generation migrant worker group' s “survival logic” and the college student group' s “developing logic”.Though seemed mingling with each other, their everyday life routines are actually separated by a“boundary”,which is visibly reflected by the separation of the space in the campus. It is due to such kind of separation that the “boundary” could be built up from the space dimension, while the essential factors of the whole production progress, are the related interest groups' narrative and practice of the“space qualification”of the new generation migrant workers. Thus it is necessary to introduce a spacial angle on the way to promote the new generation migrant workers' urban community inclusion,i.e.,to break the “spacial separation” and boost the relational inclusion by reconstructing the “spacial boundary” through changing the entry rule or redistricting the bound, while at the same time entitle the space member new partial “space qualification”.In practical terms, such introduction of the spatial angle could be launched from three aspects as follow: firstly, improve the openness of the urban community public service facilities and break the community“spatial separation”;secondly, foster the new generation of migrant workers' community organizations and enhance their participation;thirdly, develop community network to promote the accumulation and transfer of the new generation of migrant workers' social capital.
