Theory of PYD is a new research themes in the 1990 of the 20 th century,and the theory using positive perspective,get rid of the traditional deficit hypothesis that considering the youth as a problem.This theory hold that young people have the potential,strengths and talents.Under the influence of this theory,many projects which dedicated to helping young people to tap their own resources and helping youth building their life-world.2011 in Beijing,some colleges and universities was launched some mentor projects for teenagers ' healthy growth,the youth to establish a warm and positive relationship with other adults outside the family,which is called the mentor,who promises to devote time and energy,in more ways to help youngsters to solve the difficulties encountered by them in their school,family and community.Mentor projects service concern the positive development of youth,advocates mentors understanding situation of youth,listening their demands,and help build youth growth assets through established a kind and trusted relationship,and widened vision and interest,and upgrade interpersonal contacts capacity,self-cognitive capacity,for promoting their capacity to adapt to the urban environment.Mentor projects use the positive perspective to accept teenagers,and put forward clear requirements for service.The past service often focused on the effectiveness of service experience and reflection,which lacking the practice research evidence.This paper takes the Beijing Learning Partner mentoring project as an example,using the qualitative research method,by interviewing the 10 teenagers participating in the Learning Partner mentoring project,obtaining the more abundant interview information,so as to understand the implementation effect of the Learning Partner mentoring project.From the development of individual abilities of teenagers,personal self-confidence development,interpersonal relationship development and personal moral character development,the paper explores the situation of mentoring project to promote the development of youth,discover the positive factors that promote the adolescent positive development in the mentoring project,propose the corresponding development measures under the guidance of PYD,aiming to perfect the form and content of project,and provide better service for the needy teenagers.
