An Analysis Of The Influencing Factors Of Charity In Religious Sites

At present,the phenomenon of participation of charitable organizations in China is becoming more and more popular,and the religious circle is an important member of these subjects.From the current situation,religious circle plays an important role in poverty alleviation,health care and pension in China.Indeed,due to the influence of religious doctrine and the need of social development,the religious circle had contributed a lot to social charity in China's history,though it became stagnant due to the special period,now the function of participating in social charity is played again.But the number and quality of charitable services provided by different subjects within the religious circle are uneven,there is a lot of room for improvement in religious charity,so by exploring the impact of charitable acts of religious factors will help them better the social charity.Religious circle includes religious groups,religious sites,believers or faculties,and the religious sites,and the sites have played an important role in social charity.Currently,there are few empirical studies on the charitable behavior of religious sites,the hypothesis of this research about the influencing factors mainly draws on the factors that affect the charity behavior of the enterprises,which have already started more related research.On the basis of that,this study establishes the hypothesis that"the religious differences of the sites and the income of social donation of the sites are the key factors that affect the charitable behavior of the sites",then the research is going to use the data of 2013-2014 China Religion Survey(CRS)for empirical testing.This survey is involved in the sites of Ningbo,Wenzhou,Shaoxing,Taizhou in Zhejiang province,which is a comprehensive and systematic investigation of the current religious situation in Zhejiang.The empirical part of the study includes descriptive analysis and correlation analysis.Firstly,the article is going to have the overall description of the current situation of the religious sites in Zhejiang,which is mainly including the size of religious sites,the sites' status of income and expenditure,the structure of believers and faculties,the political situation of religious sites and the situation of religious sites.It is found by data description that,the current charity spending in Zhejiang religious places is not much,the charitable expenses accounted for the proportion of total expenditure is not high but the difference is more significant,so there is room for religious sites to improve the social charity.Secondly,the article focuses on the correlation of the two factors,in order to enhance the reliability and validity,this study is going to use the combination method of single factor test and relevance test.Then,the test results are significant for the model,that means the hypothesis in this paper are passed,the differences of religious sites and the social donation income sources of the sites accounted for a significant impact on the place charitable behavior.Finally,in order to achieve a deeper understanding of the charitable acts of religious charity,the article will explain the of the mechanism of these two factors.
