| Li Jishen(November 6,1885-October 9th,1959),from Longxu District,Wuzhou City,Guangxi Autonomous Region,who styled himself Renchao,was the vice president of the Huangpu Military Academy,former high-ranking general officer of the Nationalist Party and one of the main founders and leaders of the Chinese Kuomintang Revolutionary Committee.He has successively served as vice chairman of the Central People’s Government of the People’s Republic of China,vice chairman of the standing committee of the National People’s Congress,and vice chairman of the national committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference.Patriotism has been the spiritual source for the Chinese nation to move forward with unity and overcome difficulties since ancient times.Under the background of the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics,promoting patriotism can greatly promote the development of productivity and form great power of common struggle.As a great patriot,Li Jishen integrated a strong patriotism in the process of national independence,national unification,and national construction.He has shown great passion and courage to fight against the enemy and actively engaged in spiritual motives.It is undoubtedly that he is an outstanding representative of patriot.However,academic circles still have a less systematic study of Li Jishen’s patriotism.Compared with other patriotic democrats,the research is less in-depth and fruitful.In particular,the comprehensive research on the content of his patriotism is quite rare.This article begins with the content of Li Jishen’s patriotism,and deeply discusses his patriotism,then analyzes the main features and positive influence of Li Jishen’s patriotism and provides new enlightenment for the current practice of patriotism education and the implementation of socialist core values.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part mainly introduces the background and significance of the research on the topic,comments on the relevant research results,and defines the relevant concepts.The second part combines with the formation process of Li Jishen’s patriotism and analyzes and summarizes the influencing factors of his thought formation in detail,mainly including four major aspects,life experience and education background,theoretical source,practical foundation,and time background.The third part is the focus of this paper,sorts out the contents of Li Jishen’s patriotism through reading Li Jishen’s relevant materials and tries to logically analyze the content of Li Jishen’s patriotism,mainly including three levels,the thought of national independence,the thought of national unification,and the thought of state construction.The fourth part combines with the specific content of Li Jishen’s patriotism and analyzes and summarizes the characteristics of his patriotism in detail,mainly including three aspects,the supremacy of national interests,firm democracy,and distinctive times.The fifth part is the impact and enlightenment thinking,combines with the influencing factors and the content and characteristics of Li Jishen’s patriotism,examines the diverse social background of the current value culture and provides a reference for the cultivation and practice of socialist core values. |
