Study On The Patriotism Thoughts Of Soong Ching-ling

Soong Ching-ling(January 27,1893-May 29,1981),a politician,social activist,and one of the founders of the People’s Republic of China.She lived in a period of great social change and development in China.The theme of patriotism has undergone historical changes along with changes in the social structure,and showing different connotations.Her patriotism was constantly developing and improving with the changes of the times.Before the establishment of the People’s Republic of China,the semi-colonial and semi-feudal social nature of China determined that the patriotic theme at that time was to fight for national independence.After the establishment of the People’s Republic of China,the nature of China’s society has changed,and a road to socialism with Chinese characteristics was successfully explored after the completion of the transformation.This huge transformation determined that the patriotic theme at that time was to strive for the building of a new socialist China to achieve the country’s prosperity and the people’s prosperous life.Soong Ching-ling firmly grasped the connotation of patriotism in different periods,and she permeated patriotism in her ideology and theory of lifelong.She takes the connotation of different times as the center and actively carries out activities in various fields.These activities showed a series of characteristics,the most prominent is progressive,political and practical.This article is based on this point,trying to conduct an in-depth analysis of the main content and characteristics of Soong Ching-ling’s patriotism,so as to give play to its contemporary value in the new era.This article is divided into five parts.The first part mainly introduces the research purpose,research significance,research ideas,research methods,and literature review.The second part summarizes the formation process of Soong Ching-ling’s patriotism and analyzes its influencing factors.It mainly including the influence of the time background,the influence of Marxist view of history,the influence of Charlie Soong and Sun Yat-sen’s patriotism,the influence of Soong Ching-ling’s own revolutionary practice.There are four aspects.The third part is the focus of this article.Through reading and combing the relevant materials of Soong Ching-ling,this article takes the important event of the founding of New China as the time node,and logically integrates the main content of Soong Ching-ling’s patriotism according to the different demands of patriotism in different eras.Mainly divided into two levels: striving for national independence and building a socialist country.The fourth part summarizes the characteristics of Soong Ching-ling’s patriotism by analyzing the main content.The fifth part is the analysis of the modern value of learning Soong Ching-ling’s patriotism in the new era.The article explains the importance of learning Soong Ching-ling’s patriotism in the new era by combining with the new era background.
