Hukou(Registration system)reform is very important for stabilization of society, social justice and sound economic growth. It is a focus of research for sociologist, economist and demographers. In 2014,Hukou reform policy launched by the State Council stated that the rural and non-rural Hukou be integrated into the unified household Hukou and general public services be equalized. What we actually see is that the social welfare and interest is closely attached to Hukou and the rural Hukou workers working in cities cannot enjoy the same welfare as those with urban Hukou. Therefore,it has theoretical and practical significance in investigating to what extent rural workers with rural Hukou are satisfied with Hukou reform and what the factors will determine their degree of satisfaction. This paper studied the case of Changsha.873 rural migrants with urban Hukou were investigated for their degree of satisfaction with Hukou reform and the corresponding determining factors.First, relevant concepts are explained. Also, related theories of migration, institutional change, urban functions and customer satisfaction are examined and applied in this study;Second,an analysis framework is constructed.Indicators are chosen and assumptions are made.An econometric model is set based on these assumptions.Third,a Logistic regression model is used to test empirically the degree of satisfaction with Hukou reform of rural migrants with urban Hukou and its determining factors. The results obtained from this study show that 8 factors such as family income have positive impact on the degree of satisfaction, while the other 17 factors are not statistically significant.Consequently,5 policies are recommended: first, people come first when designing reform policies;second, basic general public services should be equalized;third, urban infrastructure should be strengthened;fourth, per capita income increase through economic growth is necessary;fifth,Hukou reform policies should be made wide known to the public.
