Stdy Of Present Situation Of High-level Basketball Sports Teams In Ordinary Universities Of Guangxi

The development of ASEAN has not only brought indefinite commercial opportunities, but also promoted the sports cultural communication between Guangxi and other countries of ASEAN. Basketball has a good mass base in Guangxi of China and such countries as Malaysia and the Philippines that have multilevel communication with Guangxi. Aiming at the requirements of developing sports culture and the demands of cultivating university high-quality talents, with the help of cases of universities cultivating high-quality basketball talents, and by the means of statistic analysis, theory research, research investigation and analysis, this thesis analyses and explores the present situation and facing problems of high-quality basketball talents cultivation of local universities in Guangxi. The purpose of the study is to know the overall situation of high-quality basketball talents cultivation of Guangxi universities, recognize the advantages and shortages of it, analyze the existing problems of the team, and come up with some developing suggestions aiming the problems for reference. The conclusions of the research are as follows:1. At present, for Guangxi universities, the purpose of cultivating high-level sports teams of is to get good performance and so win honor and reputation for their universities; and the main goal of competition is to attend the Guangxi University Games and the CUBA University Basketball Games. In the process of cultivating, the goal of cultivating players is to raise their intellectual level.2. High-level basketball players have a reasonable age structure but their technical grade is not very high. However, through short-term systematic training, they can make considerable progress, so in this sense, they have great potential and space for developing. Basketball players are now under pressures from study; what is more, special scholarships for them are too few to inspire their learning interests.3. In Guangxi universities, board and lodging arrangement of high-level basketball players is too scattered, which causes inconvenience. Few basketball matches lead to too long training periods, so it is necessary to combine match with training. Basketball coaches have a reasonable age structure, but their further study mainly depends on their self-teaching, lacking learning and exchange in information of advanced training,4. Most of Guangxi universities basketball players choose to find jobs as civil servants and in public institutions. But facing the present stiff employment situation, only with their professional skills, they are difficult to get jobs in the entrance exams of employers. So they need to combine their specialty and professional knowledge to take advantages over others in the fierce competition.5. Guangxi universities'budget preparation for basketball matches and training is too simple. The strength training equipment of universities is old and aging, which, to some extent, affects the volume and intensity of scientific training. And now students only buy students accident insurance, which can not effectively guarantee serious accidental injuries caused by high-strength matches and training.
