Shanxi Everlasting Heritage And Development Status Quo Of Xingyi Quan Research

Xingyi Quan,with its rich regional features,is a representative traditional folk sport in Yongji,which has shown unique artistic charm during its long-term development and has been extremely popular among local people.After a long time of accumulation,it has become one of the major sports for local people and gradually welcomed its heyday in folk activities.From the perspective of folklore and sociology,this thesis takes “ A Study of Inheritance and Development Situation of Yongji Xingyi Quan in Shanxi” as the title and completely and systematically summarizes generation and evolvement process of Yongji Xingyi Quan based on the combination of field data,literature materials and questionnaire.In addition,as a case study,it has conducted a detailed analysis towards the inheritance forms,leading role of inheritors,inheriting characteristics of keeping with the times as well as the current development situations,aiming at providing some useful references for the protection and development of intangible cultural heritage and other traditional folk sports.This thesis has summarized the generation and evolvement of Xingyi Quan in details from such aspects as generation conditions,historical origins,theoretical foundation,evolvement traces andprocess.According to a great deal of surveys and the first-hand materials about the five modes of Xingyi Quan inheritance in Yongji(namely social organization inheritance,school education inheritance,competition inheritance,media and business inheritance),this thesis presents these five modes one by one in the form of case study and carries on a detailed study of these inheritance subjects from the point of local excellent inheritors and organizations.The era characteristics about the inheritance of Xingyi Quan in Yongji and the roles of folklore during the inheriting process are demonstrated on the basis of above survey results.Finally,the development situation about Xingyi Quan is analyzed into details through a lot of questionnaires and the statistic data.According to this research on Xingyi Quan,a conclusion can be drawn that it is not only a traditional folk sport once prevailed but also one that enriches people's spiritual life now in a deeper level.
