Chinese wushu boxing(Chinese martial arts)is rich in varieties and has its own characteristics. It has high cultural and academic value. Its research and protection work is tedious and urgent.Identity is an important issue in group research, which mainly lies in the interpretation of the core issues of “who am I” and “who are we”.It is also an important starting point for the study of group membership and organizational characteristics.Meihua Quan is a representative traditional wushu boxing with the characteristics of organizational communication and folk beliefs. It has strong cohesion and centripetal force among the members of the group in the inheritance.Identity crisis has an important impact on the inheritance and development of current wushu boxing.Understanding the identity of disciples in the inheritance of Meihua Quan helps to discover its inheritance mechanism and rules, and helps to inherit and protect the traditional wushu boxing such as Meihua Quan in the contemporary era. This research takes the identity of the disciples in the inheritance of Meihua Quan as the breakthrough point, and comprehensively uses the methods of literature,in-depth interviews, expert interviews, participatory observation,on-the-spot investigation and logical analysis to describe, judge and interpret the social behavior of individual and group cognition of the disciples in the inheritance of Meihua Quan.Specifically, this study mainly explores the identity of Meihua Quan disciples from three aspects: the acquisition of their identity, the construction process of their identity and the recognition and characterization of their identity,in order to deeply analyze and explain the causes and characteristics of the formation of strong cohesion and centripetal force in the inheritance of Meihua Quan, and then to further the contemporary inheritance and development of Wushu Quan. The exhibition provides inspiration. The main conclusions are summarized as follows. In this study, the identity of Meihua Quan disciples is clearly defined as: individual based on the identity of Meihua Quan disciples for individual or group belonging and identity, mainly through "I am a Meihua Quan disciple" and "We are Meihua Quan disciples" social behavior to reflect. Then, according to the identity theory, the sign of Meihuaquan disciple's identity is clearly handed over to the teacher, which is mainly handed over in the ceremony of worship, but there are also some cases that are completed by "floating paste" because of the distance. The reasons for the formation of strong cohesion and centripetal force in the inheritance of Meihua Quan include:(1)The acquisition of the identity of plum blossom blossom Meihua Quan disciples is influenced by single or multiple factors, mainly including: the unique advantages of pre-conditions,the extensive influence of curing illness and keeping in good health, the individual needs of self-defense,the characteristics of the times of school dissemination, and the charm of cultural inspiration, etc. In the process,we have preliminary opinions and identities on the value and concept of Meihua Quan, and have certain contacts and understandings with other individuals who have acquired the status of pupils of Meihua Quan.(2)The process of obtaining the identity of Meihua Quan disciples is strictly regulated, which is manifested in the following aspects: through long-term investigation, through strict selection, through elaborate procedures, etc. The process of strict screening is helpful to improve the overall structure and quality of disciples in the school,as well as to gain the identity of individuals who are disciples of Meihua Quan to be recognized by other disciples in the school.(3)Judging from the performance of Meihua Quan disciples' status,it embodies the characteristics of humanistic care and collective concepts, which are mainly manifested in the following aspects: the two-way choice of access concept;individual initiative to the collective;no charge for the introduction of teachers. This makes the individuals who eventually acquire the status of Meihuaquan disciples fully feel collective care, and thus have a stronger sense of identity and belonging to the members of the group within the door.(4)The main motivation of the identity construction of Meihua Quan disciples is the pursuit of skills, the sense of belonging and the realization of self-worth.This enables individuals who acquire the identity of Meihua Quan disciples to actively construct their identity by imitating learning, communicating and interacting.(5)Collective restraint is also an important way for Meihuaquan disciples to construct their identity. When there are individuals who do not conform to the rules of Meihuaquan,it is also an important way to maintain the unity and stability of the disciples through enlightenment or deprivation of their identity.(6)There are abundant identity construction materials in the inheritance of Meihua Quan: door rules and disciplines with the function of "explicit disciplines";historical traditions formed by "conventional practices";and cultural implications of "imperceptible" existence. This is helpful to the sufficiency of the identity construction of group members, and also to the cohesion and centripetal force construction among the pupils of Meihua Quan.(7)The main content of the identity construction of Meihua Quan disciples is to construct the relationship between self and others, which mainly includes three aspects: the construction of collective ethical relationship, the construction of collective close relationship and the construction of the inheritance relationship between teachers and apprentices. The unique way of relationship construction is helpful to the orderly inheritance of Meihua Quan, the mutual recognition of the pupils of Meihua Quan, and the formation of strong cohesion and centripetal force in the inheritance of Meihua Quan.On the characteristics of strong cohesion and centripetal force in the inheritance of Meihua Quan, this study mainly elaborates on "who am I","who are we" and the corresponding "other's identity".(1)"Who am I" mainly refers to the self-identity confirmation of Meihuaquan disciples, which is mainly manifested in the ritual expression of individual belief characteristics, the explicit expression of individual behavior characteristics, and the recognition of organizational value attributes.(2)"Who are we" refers to the confirmation of the collective identity of Meihuaquan disciples, which is mainly manifested in the following aspects: mutual care among disciples within the door;strict and orderly ethical relations;handed down techniques among disciples within the door;and the branch within the door does not affect the identity.(3)The recognition of the other is mainly manifested in the social influence and evaluation of the inheritance of Meihua Quan.It is believed that the good performance of Meihua Quan disciples in "other's identity" is mainly due to the establishment and inheritance of the good social image of Meihua Quan, which is embodied in the social influence and evaluation of Meihua Quan disciples in the Boxer Movement, the social influence of Plum Blossom Boxer disciples in important historical events in the Republic of China, and the recognition of Plum Blossom Boxer disciples in contemporary society. The enlightenment of Meihua Quan disciples' identity to the inheritance and development of Wushu boxing in the contemporary era:(1)Control the process of acquiring group members' identity and improve the overall structure and quality of group members.(2)Focus on the adequacy of the identity construction of group members, and enhance the cohesion and centripetal force of group members.(3)Group members should actively serve the society, participate in social governance, and then get the support of the state and society.
