| In the recent years,the domestic and foreign research on Wh-movement mainly focuses on the the natural environment of English learners who are mostly children or children with aphasis.Because of the lack of study from the perspective of constraints of wh-movement,and the studies which compare the Wh-questions acquisition with the learners’ English proficiency,the study selected 130 English learners from Jiangxi Province,GanZhou City ShiCheng high school as subjects.Questionnaire and quantitative analysis on the Acquisition of English Wh-question were used to survey the sensitivity of the subjects to the Wh-questions.The questionnaire data were put into the SPSS19.0,using one-way ANOVA,Two-Way Analysis of Variance,simple effect test and Pearson correlation to analyze the sensitivity of the so-called four test points of Appositive Clause,Relative Clause,Subject Island and Adjunct Island which involving the Wh-movement in Wh-questions between Senior One English learners.Studies have shown that the higher the level of the Senior one English learners,the better their acquisition is in the four test points,and the longer the Senior one students learn English,the stronger their sensitivity of Wh-questions will be.Besides,the different levels of Senior one English learners has an interaction with the sensitivity of four test points in Wh-questions.The study suggests that teachers should supervise and urge the students to improve their English in a number of different ways.In the teaching process,teachers should give the learners positive input of Wh-questions as much as possible,enhance the learners’ language sense of Wh-questions and refuse the sentences which violate the Wh-movement constraints.In addition,teachers can use the structure tree to help learners to analyze the Wh-question sentence. |
