The change of teaching style is becoming more and more important in the course of the new curriculum reform. Developing the students' learner autonomy is the requirement of The Compendium Of Basic Education Curriculum Reform. The study is based on Dr.PangWeiguo's Self-regulated Learning Principles and Educational Application and my teaching experience .The paper introduces in detail the whole process of the action research and the results .There are sixteen teachers and thirty-two classes taking part in this kind of experiment. The experiment is to reveal how hard the teachers in the middle schools work in changing the style of teaching and the students learning style under present course reform ,offer a real sample and objective basis for smooth implementation of the local course reform ,provide the education policy-making cooperation with a copy of pointed and consulting research materials. The study shows that autonomous class teaching activities can not only develop the potential of learners' autonomy ,but also improve the students'examination result compared with the traditional teaching style.
