In recent years,a few learning scientists have been studying the educational use of argumentation, pay more and more attention to students' co-learning in the team,emphasize the importance of collaboration in learning, a large number of education study found that collaboration helps students' learning, collaborative learning is very effective in promoting the individual learning.Argumentation is one of the features of collaborative learning that make student groups so effective at promoting individual learning,Using argumentation to learning should be rooted in collaborative activities,and driving through understanding and sharing with others.A new reform of basic education curriculum is to promote the all-round development of students, meet the needs of social development, cultivate students' innovation spirit and the social practice ability, actively guide students' active participation, willing to explore and practice.This study focused on the key problem is that as a new way of learning, why and how collaborative argumentation to learn, how learning by argument to promote the development of critical thinking? This study using literature analysis, case analysis and interview method to explores the theory and practice of learning by argument,getting the following aspects of research results:Analysis of the traditional mode of argumentation learning and the deficiency of these patterns,then advocates to using collaborative argument to improve learning;Combined with the example of collaborative argument at aboard to design a activity process of argumentation learning which suitable for our country;Finally,using the teaching of Y teacher who teach english education in a university as a example,analyzes his teaching case.
