This paper regards The Marxist education thought of Mao Zedong as the object, from the dimension of research background, basic connotation and peculiarity essence of the author. At last, the paper will analyze the cotemporary enlightenment of the thought of Marxist theory education, and provide a reference for the contemporary education of Marxist theory.This article includes the introduction and four sections. The introduction discusses the background and the problems of the research, the status and significance of the research. In this paper through grasp the development and characteristic of Mao Zedong's ideology on the education of Marxist theory, try to induce Marxism theory education thought Mao Zedong's basic connotation and basic characteristics. The study of this topic mainly follows these ideas: on the premise of the unity of logic and history, the first part will be from the two aspects of theory and practice background analysis, mainly from the angle of history systematically summarizes the theoretical origin of Marx's theory of the process of Mao Zedong's educational thought and the formation of Mao Zedong Marx theory with the development of education; the second part focuses on the basic theory on the basis of the study and discussion of the basic connotation of Mao Zedong Marx's theory of education; the third part emphatically from the angle of the revolutionary class nature, scientific nature, practicality; the fourth part focuses on the modern valueof Mao Zedong's Marxism theory education.
