With the development of new curriculum reform, English teaching has reached a new stage. However, there are many problems in present English teaching. Such as the declining of students' English learning in NO.2Middle school, students' lower participation in classroom and a lack of interest in learning English. Thus, the teaching outlook is not so optimistic. Therefore, the researcher hopes to improve current English learning situation by applying flipped classroom teaching method into grammar teaching so as to improve students' English learning enthusiasm, autonomous learning ability, cooperative learning ability and their English learning achievements.This paper mainly uses methods of experiment research, questionnaire survey and literature research to explore whether the flipped classroom teaching method has a great effect on students' grammar learning achievements and students' learning attitude. The research object is 105 students from grade three class 17 and 8in senior high school.This paper can be divided into six parts. The first part includes research background, purpose and its significance. In this part, researcher explains why using flipped classroom teaching model in English grammar teaching and what kind of result it produces. The second part is literature review. The researcher makes a definition of flipped classroom and grammar. Besides, papers from home and abroad are collected to know about the current application and research of flipped classroom. In the third part, three theories are used,including Bloom's Mastery learning theory, Autonomous Learning theory and cooperating learning theory. The fourth part is research methodology. In this part, three research questions are put forward. First, flipped classroom teaching method can or cannot affect students' English learning achievement. Second, by using flipped classroom teaching method, what will happen to students' attitude towards English grammar learning?Third, do students take great interest in flipped classroom teaching method? Besides, the researcher makes a research procedure in this part, including the pretest and post-test of students' learning achievements and learning attitude and a questionnaire investigation of students' attitudes toward the new teaching method. In the fifth part, the research results are analyzed. And the last part is conclusion. The research results show that students' scores are improved compared with the pretest results. And also, students' learning attitude have changed from passive to active. What's more, almost all the students take great interest in flipped classroom teaching method and they all wish that the flipped classroom can be used in other subjects in the future.
