By describing and explaining the rules of words,phrases and sentences,grammar serves as the foundation of language learning and the basis of language use.Grammar is one of the m ost important and difficult parts of English teaching,however,the grammar teaching situation is far from being satisfactory: studen ts accept knowledge passively,and they have no interest in gramm ar leaning,in addition,there are few chances for th em to interact with each other.In o rder to explore a more effective way of teaching and learn ing,and change the traditional teaching method,this thesis applies the flipped classroom teaching model to English grammar teaching in senior h igh school,in order to p lay the m ain body role of students fully in the process of learning and let students gain the initiative in learning,besides it can cultivate students' autonomous learning ability and cooperation ability and achieve the im provement of students' knowledge,abilities and their individual development.The new teaching mode is based on the theory of autonomic learn ing,constructivism and cooperative learning.In th is research,the author applies the new teaching mode to English gramm ar teaching in a senior high school by means of experiment,questionnaires and interviews.Through a whole-term research,develop their language ability,optimize their learning strategy and cultiv ate their practical ability.The study shows that the flippe d classroom teaching m ode of English grammar is feasible and has practical significance,but it a lso have some limitless waiting to be perfect.
