Research On The Relationship Between The Corporate Governance And Risk Bearing Of University-owned Enterprises

Since the reform and opening up, university-run enterprises in our country have achieved good economic and social benefits by transforming advantages in talents and technology into productivity. However, during the development of university-run enterprises, problems are also exposed increasingly. Some problems seriously hinder the development pace of university-run enterprises, such as vague property rights, unclear management system, personnel management problems and so on. Corporate governance is an important part of enterprise theories, so it is especially important to study the effects of corporate governance of university-run enterprises in our country. At present, China is in the period of transformation development and is faced with changes in the economic environment, so market competition is increasingly fierce. University-run enterprises are facing special market environment and due to the particularity of Chinese development history and social economic system, the governance mode of Chinese university-run enterprises is different from foreign university-run enterprises. Therefore, it is necessary to combine the research on Chinese university-run enterprises with Chinese special social background conditions. Under the existing conditions, the issue how university-run enterprises improve corporate governance abilities in order to adjust risk undertaking level should be given attention.This paper uses the method of combining theoretical analysis and empirical research. Based on systematic analysis of Chinese university-run enterprises' corporate governance and risk undertaking, this paper makes an empirical analysis, with relevant data of Chinese university-run enterprises in 2013 as the research object. Then, suggestions to improve university-run enterprises' corporate governance and risk undertaking are put forward. After analyzing development status and problems of Chinese university-run enterprises and summarizing scholars' research experience, this paper also explores countermeasures and suggestions for Chinese university-run enterprises' healthy development in the new social environment.
