A Case Study Of Social Work Intervention In The Caring For The Elderly People Living Alone In The City

With the development of economy and the change of population structure, aging is becoming a social problem that the modern society needs to face together. "Not rich first old" has become a major proposition in the process of social governance in our country. Aging not only brings a certain pressure to economic development, but also produces a series of social problems. Among them, the most prominent is the rapid increase in the aging population and the contradiction between the old service is becoming increasingly prominent. In all the elderly families, there is a group of special needs of our attention, that is, the elderly living alone". With the increase of the urban core family, the increase of the proportion of the employed labor force and the change of the traditional concept of family, the traditional family pension model is facing a lot of difficulties. In recent years, home care has gradually become a new development direction of China's pension services. Our country in exploring the appropriate mode of care for the elderly, but also in the development of pension services, and promote the professionalization of the pension service industry. The use of social work professional methods to provide services for elderly people living alone, that is, the development of pension services is a useful attempt.Based on this background, this thesis, based on the system theory, based on the reality of social workers service level and professional foundation is weak, the casework service method, strict procedures in the case, namely take the case and build relationships, data were collected and determined to ask questions, set goals and work plans, implementation, closed and evaluation, through the service object is to help build the system itself and the external system(family, friends, community, social workers, etc.), to assist the service object to establish a life of faith, have a healthy and positive attitude, and around the system can stably interacted with. Including the applicability of service object and establish professional relationships and to obtain their trust, and collect the required basic data; and service object jointly formulated the goal and content of service, carry out the service, focuses on specific professional theories and methods in the process of practice, and social workers on theory andmethod of master degree; evaluation of service process and effect, closed successfully,sum up experience and lessons, and in the following three aspects form the conclusion of the study: a case study on the applicability of the old service; significance of practical training of professional social work services; ecological system theory to social work practice enlightenment.
