The research has adopted the occupational stress questionnaire for primary and secondary school teachers prepared by Zhu Shucong et al in 2003,Luthans' Psychological Capital Questionnaire(PCQ)and Work Engagement Scale(UWES)(set secondary school teachers as samples)revised by Zhang Yiwen,GanYiqun and etc.in 2005.404 the new primary and secondary school teachers in Anhui province with teaching age below three years(including three years)were invited to answer the questionnaires.The research indicates that:(1)The overall occupational stress level of primary and secondary school new teachers is in lower-middle level,but workload,job expectancy,and test pressure are in a higher level;the occupational stress varies a lot over genders,academic degrees,school property,school type,working content and school location.(2)The overall psychological level of new teachers in primary and secondary schools is in the medium level and high level,and the psychological level has great difference in genders,working content and school location.(3)The overall job involvement level of primary and secondary school new teachers is in medium high level,there are significant differences between age and title.(4)It has a significant negative correlation between occupational stress and psychological capital of the primary and middle schools new teachers;between occupational stress and job involvement also have significant negative correlation;it has a significant positive correlation between psychological capital and job involvement.(5)The occupational stress of primary and secondary school new teachers has negative predictive effect to psychological capital;psychological capital has positive predictive effect to job involvement;Occupational stress has negative predictive effect to job involvement.(6)Psychological capital only has an intermediary effect between the new primary and secondary school teachers occupational stress and job involvement.Finally,according to the results of this study,some constructive opinions and suggestions have been put forward.
