Education is the future of our country and teachers are pivotal toward the future of education. As one of the leading forces that has acted as part of the backbone to Chinese education for decades, private schooling has continuously met the needs of those who pursued different systems than the public one. In this study will mainly focus on the particular group between public school teachers and enterprise employees-private school teachers. Take the social phenomena of "Is not difficult to go to college entrance examination, but it’s difficult to go to first-rate high school "as background, examining the levels of their occupational stress, occupation burn-out, and how those two factors correspond to both each other and matters of psychology.This study will be using the internationally known Maslach Burnout Inventory-General Survey (MBI-GS), Luthans’ Psychological Capital Questionnaire (translated by Chaoping Li) and the Elementary/Middle School Teachers’Occupational Stress Questionnaire by Zhu et al. The paper is conducting this experiment on 211 junior high teachers, selected by a city’s fifth district, examining the characteristics of their stress levels, burnout levels and psychological capital.Study Concluded:(1) In general, the stress and burnout levels of these teachers are moderate. Psychologically speaking, they still have positive outlooks and are rather forward-looking.(2) The stress levels, burnout levels, psychological capital has s significant difference in age, teaching life, marriage conditions, education, work status et al.(3) The occupational stress and burnout of private junior high school teachers showed a significant positive correlation.(4) Psychological capital had an overall adjusting effect towards the stress and burnout levels. With low levels of mental fortification, there was more stress and burnout. While oppositely, when there were high amounts of mental fortification, there was less stress and burnout.Based on this empirical research, the paper puts forward some suggestions to enhance the private junior high school teachers’ psychological capital.
