Comparative teaching method is the thought process and methods that the teacher according to certain comparison standard in the process of lesson planning, classroom teaching and extracurricular teaching, discriminate and determine the different or similar relationships between teaching content, enhance their teaching effectiveness,and guide students to compare reading. The application of comparative teaching method in junior middle school language reading teaching is to apply the principle and method of comparative teaching method to the teaching of language reading in junior high school. In this application, the characteristics are: openness of the system of reading content and methods, pluralism in reading comprehension, divergence and integration of reading thinking, etc. The value and advantages of the comparative teaching method used in junior middle school language reading teaching are: resolve the problem of simple analysis and reading; improve the effectiveness of the discussion; correct the students' appreciation and teachers' reasoning defects; expand students' extracurricular reading horizon; train students logical thinking; can penetrate into the teaching ways of other, etc.The contents of the comparative teaching method used in junior high school language reading teaching include: to determine the purpose of the teaching of reading, selection of comparative reading teaching content, the use of comparative reading and teaching method, the use of organizational forms of comparative teaching reading; comparative reading teaching effectiveness of inspection and evaluation, etc.Its requirements are: teaching content requirements, teaching requirements,requirements for teachers, requirements for students, extracurricular teaching requirements, etc. And through analyze and collate interview records, the problems of comparative teaching method in junior high school reading teaching can be summarized as follows: the overall frequency of comparative teaching method used in the teaching of reading is too low; the comparative content selection of classroom reading teaching is too casual; the systematic training of the comparative ability inclassroom reading teaching is too little; the comparative method selection of classroom reading teaching is single; extracurricular comparative reading teaching guide activities deletion, etc.Comparison teaching method use in junior high school language reading teaching should pay attention to the use of the following strategies: First of all, choose a good comparison content of language reading teaching in junior middle school; according to different content to choose different comparison method in language reading teaching of junior middle school; to strengthen the junior middle school students' ability training in language reading teaching. Secondly, guide the junior high school language extracurricular comparative reading should pay attention to: guide the content of extracurricular comparative reading, guide the method of extracurricular comparative reading, guide the summary of extracurricular comparative reading, etc.
