Quality of graduate students and its training quality are closely linked.There is a big difference between the different levels of its students' training quality.Due to the nature of the provincial engineering universities,Marxist Theory is in a weak position in such schools,especially for the graduate students.Improving the quality of students who learns Marxist Theory in provincial engineering universities,can not only provide a reference for improving the quality of graduate students in other majors,but also benefit for the popularization of the Marxist Theory.Taking graduate students of Marxist theory in Wuhan provincial engineering universities as research objects,this paper is to analyze the status of the quality of graduate students and to propose a solution.This paper begins with the introduction,which introduces the research background,significance,research review and so on.The paper mainly summarizes the quality of graduate students in universities and the research of graduate students of Marxist theory.The first chapter is about relevant category and theoretical topics,including elements of the quality of students,the relationship between the quality of students and training quality and the special nature of provincial engineering universities of graduate students in Marxist Theory.The second chapter is to make an empirical analysis of the quality of provincial engineering universities of graduate students in Marxist Theory.The results show that the quality of provincial engineering universities of graduate students in Marxist Theory is generally not good.In the basic analysis of the situation of the candidates and the candidates on the theory of cognitive status of subjects of Marxist,the author finds that: the graduates are the main force to apply for the Marxist Theory subject,of which the largest number of candidates are from the third rank universities;very few candidates have relevant professional backgrounds;the motivations of the candidates are complex,whose main purpose is to improve their educational level;there is a big difference and a wide gap between their academic background level;as for the Marxist theory,the students know little about it before admission;the professional liking of students is far from the professional enthusiasm;most of students don't have clear learning objectives during the learning process.The third chapter is to analyze the reasons of the quality of graduate students in Marxist Theory in provincial engineering universities,which are from themethods of enrollment and disciplinary construction of the subject.The final chapter is to propose a solution to improve the quality of graduate students in Marxist Theory in provincial engineering universities from both theoretical and practical aspects.First,in theory,we must stick to three principles: adhere to the theory with practice,seek truth from facts,to analyze specific issues.Second,in practice,from enrollment,disciplinary construction,and university development,the universities should enhance the recruitment efforts,increase retest proportions,and develop reasonable enrollment plans;improve the schools' condition,advance the disciplinary construction and develop relevant subjects;enhance the school's own strength,give some appropriate care to the subject of Marxist theory.I hope the above solutions can help to improve the quality of graduate students in Marxist Theory in provincial engineering universities.it is possible to further broaden the students' quality of research in the field,to provide some reference for future research.
