A Study On Caring Ability Of The College Student Illustrated By The Case Of W School

In the new era of rapid development of the society,under the huge pressure of the work and life,everyone feels exhausted.It is in this context that everyone is eager to get more care.Chinese college students is an important part of the future society,and their caring ability level is directly related to the healthy development of our society.This generation of college students,most of the Post-1990 s,almost is a single child in their family.Adored by millions,They pay much attention to their feelings,thus ignoring the needs of others.We should improve their caring ability.Under this background,We make a questionnaire survey to research the caring ability of college students and the reasons for the status.I hope to find some ways to improve the caring ability of college students.The research content mainly includes the following 4 parts: the first part is the introduction,describes the background,research significance,research review,research methods and innovation.The existing research involved the "care" are reviewed and summarized.The second part introduces the theoretical basis of the research and definition of “Care”.Gilligan's Feminist Care Ethics?Caring Education Theory by Noddings and Eight Elements of Care Theory from Mayroff are introduced in this part.They are the theoretical basis of this paper,so as to lay a foundation for the following in-depth analysis.The third part :According the investigation of College Students' caring ability,I analysis of the present status,then analyses reasons by the angle of the society,school,family and college students.The fourth part puts forward some methods to improve the caring ability of college students: to offer formal care course and improve students' consciousness of care;to strengthen the dialogue between teachers and students and cultivate caring teachers;to set some good example with typical events and guide students to emulate;to strengthen psychological guidance for students and care about their needs;to increase infrastructure and create the campus care culture;to make students have more chances to do care practice.
