Research On Sheepskin Raft Culture In Longwan,Gansu

The sheepskin has not only provided transportation and entertainment, but also become an important part of the Yellow River culture since it was born. At present, Very limited studies have been done on the sheepskin rafts especially rafts sports culture research. It is necessary to investigate the sheepskin raft culture function and exercise value, which plays an important role in the protection of the sheepskin raft culture.The development of sheepskin rafts sports culture inheritance in the different period and background was investigated in this paper. We focused on the sheepskin rafts sports in Gansu Longwan and pointed out the strategies of cultural heritage protection and sheepskin rafts movement. We discussed the origin and development of the raft, focusing on the raft culture of origin, and further investigated the raft culture in Gansu Province, in particular the development track of Gansu Longwan. This study also discussed the raft on the production process and the raft guest culture, especially many of the rafts off life stress, rules and taboos.With the development of society and economy, raft rides were descended to entertainment tools, which not only changes of function, but also turns to the essential attribute of rafting. The core value of raft culture is fighting winds and waves, sweeping into the spirit of rafting. In the long time, the raft passengers summed up some operating techniques, such as "Distinguishing watermark", "Drawing crossing", "Distinguishing head shot", "Distinguishing direction", "Hold mouth" and other specific operating skills. Finally, the paper analyzed the causes of sheepskin rafts movement and the problems of difficult heritage, management chaos, higher management risk, and put forward some suggestions about the development of sheepskin rafts movement.
